LIGHTHOUSE
A group of people who want to know and follow Jesus. Pure and simple!
Spotlight text for 2025-26:
The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? (Psalm 27 verse 1)

Lighthouse Vision and Mission
Light signifies God’s presence and favour ( Psalm 27:1 ; Isa 9:2 ; 2 Cor 4:6 ) in contrast to God’s judgment ( Amos 5:18 ). Throughout the Old Testament light is regularly associated with God and His Word, with salvation, with goodness, with truth, with life.

Lighthouse
A family of people who want to know Jesus
There is something wonderfully exciting about following Jesus. It’s not always easy. But it’s a great place to be!
Ultimately, it’s the only place to be!
Why not explore this website and maybe join us for a Zoom meeting? The light may just be dawning ……
Our aim is to be LEDs – light emitting disciples! Remember, there’s no need to stay in a dark place.
We can say, without serious contradiction, that Jesus loves you and has given His life for you. Isn’t it time you got to know Him?! None of us knows how much time we have left, but we all know that time is finite!

SPOTLIGHT
At Lighthouse our focus is:
We live in exciting, yet hugely challenging, times. Signs of Jesus’ return seem to be growing in intensity. Few serious Christians fail to recognize that unprecedented risks now embrace our world.

What?

How?
Meetings programme to be ‘advertised’, ideally with an annual programme created.

When?
Ten evening meetings p.a., excludes December and August as holiday seasons.

Who?
Cambridge is a ‘university’ city so it is hoped that a younger cohort will feel comfortable (and of course blessed) to commit to attending.

The Good News
The good news is that the good news is …. good news!
The good news is the good news of the Kingdom – that is, all those places where God’s righteous and loving rule is experienced in practice. Jesus preached the good news of the Kingdom.
We all know that this can be a terrible world. And we all know that we can be terrible people. That includes you and me!
