Meetings

Every day should be ‘holy to the Lord’! Many disciples of Jesus try to meet together on either (or both) Saturday or Sunday. Saturday because that is the Hebrew Shabbat, and the day on which Jesus observed His day of rest. Sunday because that is the day on which Jesus was raised from death – the beginning of a new era for all humanity.

At Lighthouse we have no particular preference and encourage folk to make up their own minds. Typically, we meet Sundays, but we also try to live out the reality that every day should be ‘holy to the Lord’.

Shy? Please relax! If you join our meetings you are not expected to take an active part, but some of our folk do. Worship has a ‘corporate dynamic’. Whilst we can worship God at any time and in any place, singly or in groups, God also wants us to assemble before Him as a “people”, as a family.

At Lighthouse we “assemble” both virtually (via Zoom, or equivalent) and physically, when we can.

We also meet up with other groups that want to know Jesus and to follow Him.
